Hello everyone,

I am able to control blood glucose ranges rather well during the day. But I am never sure that I have eaten enough or too much before going to bed to avoid hypoglycemia. Is there a number that is secure if taken around 9:00pm (2 hrs. before going to sleep and snacking)?

I am dx'd as Diabetic II and take 2550mg Metformin, and 0.5 Glyclazide.
So far, my average over a year is 6.2 to 6.8.

Thank you for reading and Happy Mother's Day to all moms.

I guess you're in the States as UK Mother's Day was in March :D Have a lovely day.

I'm not on meds so can't answer. Is there anything specific that makes you worried that you might be near to experiencing hypos over night? What are your fasting bloods like first thing in the morning?
