How to stop spikes

Nothing but that's my choice.

So did you test as I suggested and if so what was the result?

Brown bread or wholemeal as there is a difference between the two
Have a look at burgen bread that's very low GI and lower carbs.
 
I was a bit higher this morning, so to get a proper test I'll try again tomorrow morning
