How to store insulin abroad?

this is the first time going abroad since my son was diagnosed, I need some advice on keeping the insulin he is using below room temperature? It's 34 degrees where we are going, I have bought a frio wallet to use when we are out and about, can we use it 24/7, or is there anything else we should do? Thanks!

Thanks for that! What about the spare ones we take, presumably they cannot be put in the fridge once we get there? Sorry if I am asking a silly question!

hi Samsara1
i have used the frio for many years in Italy in august with temps around 35.

it keeps the insulin cool -- not as cold as fridge temp but certainly safe for a holiday.
the wallet can be re-dipped in the sink after a week to keep it fully wet to keep the insulin cool.

put all the insulin in a frio

Thanks so much for your help, looks like it's getting hotter everywhere, heatwave forecast in the UK too! Going abroad will be a good practice for my 18 year old before his trip in August on a lads holiday, so much to worry about!
