I know i only been at this for just over 3 months but i dont think i can go without breakfast unless its for fasting blood test. My liver just has a lie in now in the morning as it knows omlette is on the way :). I am just eating enough to not feel hungry and it dont take much. I find about 150 grams of protein and 100+ grams of fats a day is enough to help me lose weight and not be hungry My diet is not the most exciting but due to being on benefits i try and get the best quality rather than quantity. So most of my stuff is frozen (Angus burgers, Small steaks, Duck legs, Lamb chump steaks) and a bit of fresh from butchers and morristons (100% pork sausages, chops, cheap serloin steaks). I make sure there is enough fat content in my food to keep me not feeling hungry. I try to average about upto 150 grams of fat a day thats why i eat 3 times a day and last meal is about 4-5 o clock and thats it till next day unless i have a baby bell in the night :) This morning my bloods was 4.2 and my wieght is 13.10 stone so what i am doing is working for me. I gave up trying to find a work around for what i liked after the second week as the only thing that didnt raise my bloods over 2 points was a sad 6 grams of carbs which is basically a riveta :(. I be honest eating protein all the time is not fun but it works, just going to start doing bloods in the morning unless i try something different in my diet as they dont change at the moment I hope what i am doing to manage my health is helpful to someone as cutting carbs out of my daily diet has made a massive difference to me and my health. I had a 5 min phone call with GP over 3 months ago and thats it. Thanks to this great community i have been able to sort myself out and learn what i need to do to improve my health.I hope everyone can find what works for them and get healthier for it :)
