Doctor says I am not diabetic just pre diabetic so these spikes are normal. I can usually get it down by two hours by a balanced meal and or walks. I am just worried I am burning out my beta cells from that leap. The meal over all will result in 6.6 after two hours if I do 20g carbohydrates but the one hour mark high level worries me. I only tested because I feel overwhelmed with tiredness. Doctor had me feeling stupid and brushed it all off. I know not to eat an apple on an empty stomach. That makes me 8.5 at one hour. I am doing the adjustments of adding fat protein low gi stuff but still getting there. Any advice or deeper knowledge about one hour effects ?
