I'm having one right now, waiting for it to subside so I can actually go to sleep. (work evenings)

It's a thing that i think about often. How do you describe this feeling to normal people? Not just physically but mentally too. Sometimes i have mild hypos i can catch, grab something and go back to work. Ill feel shaky and sick but I can still function while the glucose does its thing. Other times I have ones where I have to lay here for half an hour feeling every wave of it. And having that moment of, "is this bedside table stuff enough or am i gonna have to bloody get up".

Rarely I have hypos that last hours and I end up sat over the toilet throwing up or wanting to throw up because I cant eat any more.

If I had to describe it, I swear its like your life force is being drained. Every muscle is weak, there's a sense of panic and you have to find that energy to go to the kitchen and not fall on the floor while eating. I can't even describe some of the sensations or where I even feel them when I first feel one starting. It's like a cold vibration in my blood and the whole world becomes background noise. I get this sense of dread and nausea, its painful but I can't tell you how or where! My body feels like everything is too fast but my brain feels slow.

i feel like I just wrote an angsty teenager poem, but would like to know how you guys would describe it?

My what I call mild ones are a little like your description, 10 min break and I'm back, but my severe ones are, am so hungry that I can't stop stuffing chocks, then of course my bloods shoot right up, but still feel as if i'm having a hypo. My real bad ones, where my wife has to intervene seem to me to be like a psychotic episode.
