No info its just to replace levemir so assuming it to be basal but have read in type 2 it can be used alone

Some T2's only use a basal, so it could be referencing that

Wow this is insane bgs going up and down rapidly and randomly so maybe humalin i is not going to work for me which is sad because started with great promise

My DSN described it as just adding support to take the background load off so my body could cope with food with its own insulin supply but was never enough for meals but too much for background cover to hold steady.

Now on proper basal bolus and while it suits me so much better.

Having difficulty as takes 3 hours to start and then overlowers bgs then wears off very quickly and this insulin is my last ditch hope as lantus gives me major probs and levemir is no more effective than injecting water ! am altering timin etc and hoping to make it work for me
