Thanks for all your replies. I'm not really worried about the one reading, I just like to keep a tight control on my BGs. My main problem is getting my Fasting reading consistently below 6 mmol, this AM it was 6.5, slightly higher than usual (that darn chocolate again). Carbs seem to take a long time to clear from my system, if I have - for me - a carb heavy meal, it will show up in my readings for a couple of days. I know from past experience that if I don't slightly obsess about my eating habits, I could well slide into much higher readings. So for now I'm going out on my bike for an hour or three to get rid of that pesky glucose!
