HUMULIN

Hello peeps,

I was at my dabetes nurse today as my sugars have been randomly increasing and decreasng, so we are trying a new insuln Humuln instead of Levemr. Thereofre was wondering if anyone is on this and is ik roughly how many unts are you taking have to take an injection before bed and in the mornng to split it up as tl work better.

Hi, I am on humulin and have been for a few years now. I have around 24 units, and inject all of my dose in the morning as I found that worked the best for me. I was told that humulin has a 24hr working time, so split doses should not been needed, unlike levemir, but that may also be dependant on your own body and lifestyle. On humulin, my bloods aren't perfect... But I think that is probs down to my diet and testing not being so great at the minute.
