I have ADHD, Aspergers and well also T1
I have always been hyperaware , I believe it to be due to my ADHD.
But since I have had T1 for around the last 2 years now, I always find that I can really feel where my sugers are at naturally.
I do always test, but I can mostly tell where I am usually within 1-2 suger units.
But what I wanted to talk about and know is if anyone else had this problem?
I say its a problem, as I find it very hard to get to sleep at night because of it; also feel bad around 60% of the time.
Mainly as if Im around a unit of 4-5 or anything above 8, I will feel my heart beating and hear my heart beating as well.
Other things that I feel are:
A feeling of heat of heavyness under the eyes, when I high sugar
Advanced sweeting if I am low or high
Shortness of breath, if I am high or low
Dizziness, low suger
Tiredness low and high suger
A feeling of being very emotional, low suger
If anyone of you have ADHD and experience this, I would be very interested in knowing how you deal with it.
Note that I am controlling my sugers rather well, I just have trouble at night before bed and during the day after breakfast.
