I’m not overweight, I eat the best I can considering the price of food these days, I exercise 3 miles a day walking, I take tablets to control my high blood sugar levels and still I am hyperglycaemic. Plenty of information for low levels but very little for high levels - Help!!

Hi there, do you have a meter, and if so, what is your typical fasting blood glucose? Also, think about the carbohydrate in your diet. Do you eat pasta, rice, bread, cereals, potatoes? All are ok for non-diabetics in moderation, but for us diabetics we have to cut right down on these

Presumably you've been diagnosed with diabetes, you don't say? Low carb diet would be the first place to start normally, moving on to meds if that doesn't work. Hyperglycaemia is more of a long term problem, unless they are really high enough to cause coma or bad symptoms. High BG can take a while to sort out. Good luck.
