I've had alot to drink last night and tonight my blood sugar levels have dropped to 1.9 I've had some glucose tablets and food but my blood sugar levels have dropped again I'm ready/ falling asleep but scared just incase I fall asleep and not wake up but not sure what I can do about it

Eat some more glucose & don't go to sleep until your sugar is over 6 - test every 15minutes, if you are still hypo, eat 15g of carbs (4 or 5 dextrose tablets) - then test in 15 minutes & repeat until you are over 6 & safe to go to sleep

I normally aim for sugar anything with sugar in it when my sugars are lower than that as I have had them at 1.3 and I have eaten a few chocolate bars and a few biscuits and some sandwiches or toast and let that works for about half an hour and check my sugars and have some tea or coffee with sugar and don't add milk or cream as it takes to long to respond and that should bring them back up in a hurry and if not ring 999 or 112 and ask for a ambulance and go to A&E as they will sort you out asap

And leave off the booze for the night as it doesn't help you when you have diabetes as I should know as I have been locked up because of it and it was over my diabetes that was the problem not the booze

You've possibly still got the alcohol in your system and your liver is in overdrive trying to deal with that. I agree with the others, don't go to sleep until you have stable sugar level. When I used to drink alcohol I never had anymore than 2 standard drinks as anything more than that I found my sugar levels were very unpredictable. I can't drink alcohol at all now and pushed it last year when I had a cider and boy did I feel sick and was in a lot of pain. When it does that to me, I don't need convincing to not drink. Also another possibility is you're dehydrated from the alcohol too if you haven't been drinking lots of water when you were drinking. That wouldn't help with recovery and managing sugars either. I hope you're feeling better now as noticed you posted this earlier. :)
