Hi, I've had my dog since he was a puppy, I recently not by choice had to live on my own, I lost my hypo warnings 18 years ago, my dog is a cross staff/lab and we are very close. The first night we spent on our own, he woke me at 4.30 in the morning, I thought he wanted to go out, but he just sat there and looked at my bottle of Lucazade which I keep on my bedside table, I thought he wanted some (as he loves sugary things)!!! But I thought check your blood sugar, it was 1.2. It wasn't a fluke he has done it loads of times since, don't know if it's because we are close or what but I like to think if you build up a connection with your dog, he'll know what to do,hope this helps love Jan
