Hypo Treatment Card

Hi, does anyone know where I can purchase a 'card' that is about the size of a credit card that has hypo and hyper treatment procedures so my son can keep on him so if he does go low and need help then people can see he needs glucose treatments or if unresponsive then to call 999?
Just need something to reassure me as had a scare and now worried senseless.
Thanks you

I think it might be better to have a card with, "Call 999 if I have passed out" on it. The reason I say this is because I saw an episode of a TV series where a man came into an office to find another man passed out. He discovered that the passed out man kept a stock of large hypodermics full of insulin in a cupboard and injected a whole one into him. The patient immediately popped up looking well and bright.

OK it's fiction but some do-gooder will have seen that and think that injecting insulin will help with a hypo.

Have you asked your diabetes nurse?
I ask because a few years ago mine gave me some from the insulin manufacturers.
Alternatively, could you make up one on a piece of card and get it laminated at a pronto-print type place?

It's very interesting you're posting this in Hypo Awareness Week. Sitting on the end of my desk is Hypo Awareness Week t-shirt. It's thoughtfully a size Large. I'm not, so I doubt it'll be worn "in anger", although it would work as a cover up some time.

Onto your request though. I'm pretty certain this isn't really what you are looking for, but thought I'd post the link anyway: https://www.diabetes.co.uk/shop/diabetes-id-card-free-family-id-cards

@Twinmummy2006 You could always type something out, perhaps including an emergency number for you, as well as 999, then get it laminated at an office supplies shop.
