It's often said that Metformin doesn't cause hypos. Icertainly always thought that;and I've been on it about 10 years
However, last night, I managed to take 2 Met 500s instead of 1. I felt absolutely normal when I got up and did my fasting check. I'm usually around 4.7/4.8. BUT 2.4 REALLY!
As I said I felt absolutely normal I decided not to correct, just had a croissant with my Costa coffee.
I won't check again until tonight. I'm miserly with strips. Anyway it's not supposed to do that :shock:
