If I have a hypo at night in my sleep could bloods be normal again when I wake up? There are times I'm waking up sweating, there are a couple of times I seem to of had a fit, could this be with the diabetes or my epilepsy. I'm spoilt for choice.

Hi @clarea
welcome to the forum !! :)
having low blood sugars in the middle of the night and waking to "normal" levels is pretty common.

first thing I would suggest is to test basal ---- link here https://mysugr.com/basal-rate-testing/

epilepsy could be playing a part -- but getting your basal insulin sorted could remove 1 variable for you

do keep posting
this is a great site for all of us D's

Clarea - I see from your thread title, you are Type 2? Are you taking any medication for your diabetes at all, and what was your last HbA1c test score?

Do you test at home at all Clarea? If so, what sort of scores do you see on your meter?
