Hypo

Hi. Sometimes I wake up in the night and feel as if I'm shaking all over, but I'm sure if anyone was to look at me they wouldn't see anything. Is this what they call a hypo? And is it advisable to eat something before going to sleep. Sometimes I feel very hungry but don't eat late at night. I'm pre-diabetic.

If you're a pre diabetic, and presumably not on meds, you don't need to worry about night hypos unless you have some other medical condition causing it. I wouldn't suggest eating at night-it will just give you raised levels at night and potentially in the morning. If you're worried, discuss it with the doctor to see what else it could be.
