Hypoglycaemia and hair loss?

This idea came to me randomly but most of the info I can find is about hyperglycaemia and hair loss.
In my case, I was started on medication a little over a year ago which frequently causes hypos. I wasn't aware of just how frequent until I got a CGM 2 weeks ago. If I assume the data reflects roughly what's been going on the whole time, I've been getting hypos 2-3 times/day + 1 long one/night (on average). The hypos sit mainly between 3-4 mmol with occasional dips to 2.8-2.9 mmol. I talked to my dr yesterday and can reduce my dosage now.
Also about 1 year ago, I started noticing hair thinning. This has been an ongoing concern for a while due to different reasons, but this past year, it feels like it sped up. None of my relatives are bald, they only have receding hair lines or some thinning.
It could be completely unrelated to hypoglycaemia, but I'm interested to know if anyone else has experienced similar. Also, does hair grow back once the hypos are fixed?

Additional:
I lost 10-12 kg over the course of 9-12 months which I think is still considered a healthy rate. I'm at a healthy weight now and try to eat a lot of protein, alongside vegetables. I also take vitamin D supplements for deficiency, so I'm assuming it's not malnutrition.
