i suffer from night time hypos and i hope to be getting an insulin pump soon this should help with those But until i do i have herd of Hypoglycaemia Symptoms Alarm watches, Do they work and dose anybody use one.
Yes, there is such a watch apparently, but the reviews for it aren't that brilliant. Think it works by measuring moisture in the skin? From what others have said, it seemed the alarm would go off when not hypo and vice versa. So doesn't seem to be too reliable. No doubt someone on here with personal experience will come along soon.

My husband has been using a hypo alarm watch at night for around 4 years and I don't know how we would manage without it now. He tends to sweat a lot with a night hypo so this sets the alarm off, might not work so well for everyone. Very rarely has it failed, probably two or three times in four years. If he keeps his arm out of the covers sometimes it sets the alarm off, but that's no big deal. My only criticism is the on/off button, it makes either 2 or 3 bleeps to indicate on or off, which are rapid and hard sometimes to know if it's was on or off, what is needed is a led light or something clear, would be so much better. The watch is a Bio sensor Sa3.
