Hi
Can anyone tell me if it’s normal to have a hypo about 1.5 - 2 hours after a meal.
This is very distressing as I have to eat again when I’m not hungry.
Twice in the last 10 days.
Many thanks
Sarah

What are your numbers like usually? How low did you hypo? Do you eat low carb? Speak to your consultant about the Gliclazide. If your bg is lower due to diet the Glic might be too much.

Hi Millhouselady, could you describe in a bit more detail what happens when you go hypo, what you've eaten and any medications you might be on. There are just too many options, just to make a judgement

I had a similar situation in last couple of weeks. Two hours After every meal I would have classic hypo symptoms but BS is not low. Hunger, thirst, weakness and sone confusion. Checked with doctor and decided that Forxiga 5mg was probably to blame. So he asked me to stopping it and check how things go. I stopped for a couple of days and definitely the symptoms are subsiding significantly. However my BS numbers are inching up ☹️
