Hi I’m back I’m pleased to report that I have taken all your advise and went from eating too many carbs and not enough food to now having got my bloods under control and two plus stone lost. My question is this….
I have recently had two severe hypos I went unconscious both times my dr has taken me off two of my diabetes meds as my weight has shot down I’m still taking 300mg invokana and a jab once a week of osempec but during the day I’m still going quite low. I can’t do what I usually do eg exercise without having a low and then having to eat to bring it up. Any advice would be so welcome thanks

Maybe you need your meds altering or reducing again, eating to support the meds is definitely the wrong way round, - can you speak to your GP again and with their support reduce your meds further? This is what I did over time and soon stopped all meds except metformin (I went from a short time in insulin to max Gliclizide and then reduced it until I didn’t need it any more but I stress don’t do it without the support of your GP)
