I sometimes get hypos without symptoms and I've been type 1 for 27 years as your recently diagnosed are your nurses still working out your insulin doses? Keep phoning them everytime you get a problem that's what they're there for to help you. Also keep glucose tablets or sugary drinks to hand until you get it sorted you'll be fine

If you have them often, then you lose your symptoms. They do come back if you avoid them for a week or so by deliberately running you levels a bit high.

Thank you guys for your help :) I agree my diabetes nurse has signed me off now :) and I haven't had a hypo for a week until yesterday and it felt awful when it happened so at least I'm feeling them again
