Been on a pump for 2 weeks now. Was having hypos 3 times a days so DSN reduced basal. Started averaging between 8-11 but started having many hypos again. Is it possible that it needs lowering again? It doesn't look like it's bolus related
You need to look at bg levels over a 3 day period to see if the same 'trend' is happening and then decide what to do. Sometimes, Ive found that the hike up in levels have been temporary and doing a TBR sorts it, but then again if its not temporary, n I just change the settings according to when the bg starts chsnging.
Well I would have said that IS most likely bolus related. Lots of clues there (eg 3 times a day). Why does the DSN think it's not bolus related? Looks to me like basal too low, bolus ratios too high. (From the limited information given.)
