On a different note I just got told off for saying something apparently offence in the office?
I said I can't do the late cover tomorrow because I'm running low on needles and need to pick some up. I didn't think, but not sure why that's offensive

You said you couldn't cover the late shift. That was the offensive part!

I'd actually get hold of the person who said ti was offensive, take them to one side and ask them to explain why, even if it is your boss. Then make it clear that they are part of your life and that they need to grow up a little bit. But I'd also chuck in there something along the lines of "You've seen my shooting up enough haven't you?"

I've done this twice before and I have left work both times drove all the way home to get it it's priority
