I am a diabetic type 2 and it feels a warm cup of tea is being poured down my leg what is this feeling and can anyone help.

Prolonged high blood sugar levels can cause nerve damage. This is called neuropathy. Some people experience pins and needles in their hands or feet. Some people experience itchy skin. Lowering blood sugars often helps reverse some of these symptoms. A effective way to do that is by changing your diet by reducing carbohydrates.

You need to know what your blood sugar levels are, so you need to buy a glucose meter.

I had that feeling on the side of my foot a couple of times many years ago. The doctor said it was neuropathy but didnt know the cause. I wasnt diabetic and it hasnt happened since (touch wood ). Check with your doctor to be on the safe side.
