I am new and wish to know.

Greetings to you all.
I am Zahir shamsery ,from Bangladesh.
Age 62 years.
I was suspecting cancer in my tongue and went to cancer hospital at Kolkata, India.
After check up , Doctor assure me that it is not cancer.
But I have just been diagnosed with diabetes.
Those who have little idea about my country, know well that treatment in our country is out of the reach for lower middle class and middle class people.
For the low income group or working class people, nothing to mention , they have just born to die, I am sorry and ashamed but that is the reality.
Anyway, I wish to know, how do you differentiate the diabetes?
What would be the proper measure for a diabetic patient?
How I can take self care?
On receipt the reply shall remain grateful and obliged.

Sorry to have to meet you in such circumstances
There is a away in which diabetes can be managed without medication.( so saving money) I don't know your food culture, but if you eliminate all sugar from your diet and reduce starches to the absolute minimum, the condition will be better. In some cases, this will be enough to keep the condition under full control, especially if combined with exercise.
Some people may need to eliminate all stach as well as all sugar. It might be difficult, but could be the difference between life and death.

First of all your picture needs to hosted with an on line picture host such as http://www.photobucket.com

To upload a picture:

1. Type your reply to the post.

2. Click on Img above the reply box, it will give you two boxs [Img]

3. Paste in the address (URL) between the boxes.

4. Click preview (below). If all Ok then press submit.

Alternativley, if on photobucket, left click the bottom box below the pic of your choice (its called IMG Code), then right click and copy, this copies the complete code and [Img] boxes, then paste into your reply on here.

You can upload straight from computer.Scroll dow nto bottom of 'reply' box and you will see a tab,'upload attachment' Browse,and follow details there.
