I have have Stage 4 CKD and under Guys by telephone consultation. I have blood test prior to this about a week ahead. My last test threw up high potassium and my consultant send me direct to A & E for recheck, which thankfully was lower than previous test. I have since had test at GP. I know many things are high in potassium such as bananas, peanuts, avocado and many things which I are normally classed as good for me, legumes, greens, beans even potatoes, some fish. Now I'm trying to find a comprehensive list of things I can eat, already restricted due to Type 2, low carbs etc. I need to find out what I can eat, tbh not much it seems!
