I can't eat veggies

Hi

Anyone had this problem. I was on Metformin 500mg twice a day but suffered a severe loss of appetite so doctor put me on 500mg SR Metformin. My appetite has recovered except I can't stomach vegetables and I ate loads before Metformin. I am due to see dietician next week and no doubt he or she is going to advise me to eat more vegetables. H E L P!!!

I just can't eat them, if I have some rice with veggies mixed in I'm picking the veg out and putting them to one side yet I can eat mostly anything else. I have never had this problem before, I'm not sick if I eat them just simply don't fancy them. As I said this all started when I was put on Metformin 500mg twice a day, now I am on SR tablet my appetite has returned but not in respect of veg, hopefully it will return.
