I restarted my LCHF about 10 days ago... All was going well but tonight I really really really craved Hunky Dory Buffalo flavour crisps! Ive never craved crisps even when I was high carbbing! I sent my other half to the shop for those specific crisps... Ate 1/2 a 30g packetwas satisfied... Then it hit me like a ton of bricks... I was obviously craving salt! Ugh I should have just had a stock cube...I won't let this deter me. My BS are great at mo!!
I find the microwave cheese crispy thingies very handy for a salt/crunch craving. Just break a piece of processed cheese (the stuff in the individual plastic wrapper) into half a dozen even sized pieces, place on a bit of micro-proof baking paper & zap on high for 1min15secs. Crunchy, salty, low-carb craving killer.
