Perhaps this is nothing new to some of you, but I haven't seen diabetes-friendly bakery items in supermarkets and the one bread I tried from Holland and Barrett I found unpalatable. But today I saw Mission Carb Balance wraps in Sainsbury's. I haven't tried them yet, but they get good reviews and with 9g carbs and 14g fibre per wrap, that makes them a minus 5 net carb. Can't be bad. Ordering from online sources is so expensive, unfortunately.

Sorry don’t want to burst your bubble but the fibre is already taken away from the carbs as it’s a UK product so they are actually 9g net carb a wrap - it’s impossible to have a minus carb. They are still lower carbs than other ones you can buy in the supermarket so you may be lucky & be able to tolerate them. No harm in trying them & testing to see :)

:( I was elated for half a day. I now need a reset, as I've been subtracting the fibre for net carbs from other purchases, including Robert Andrew sourdough bread. Still wish Supermarkets would have a low carb section. Even the smaller branches have a "Free From" section, for gluten free products.
