Hi all members
For more than a month I have been controlling the level of diabetes well. Even without drugs. Last week I got a cold.
I felt weak and had to eat some milk and bread.
The sugar level has risen and I can not control it about 153mg/dl to 192mg/dl

Yesterday I came back to take medicine
what should I do ?

Treat your cold and get better.

Illness and stress will raise your body's need for glucose so it will release glucose into your blood. Without diabetes, our bodies would release enough insulin to handle this extra sugar.

Once you are over your cold, you should see your BG returning to normal.
