Hi to all,

I have been for my diabetes check this morning and have been told not to use insulin at all the cause of my hypo s already knew this.
I have been told my 8.5 a1c is high and been advised to test before meals only I have to go back in 3 weeks and will also be booked into see Beth in June as I will be on holiday in may.
Trying to keep me off insulin as I want to loose more weight and see what my blood sugars are like for the next few weeks.
What do you think of the above.

What sort of diet are you keeping to?

What drugs if any do take?

(8.5 = 69 in UK units so is high)
 
As we have winter weather I have been including carbohydrates to keep warm in winter but will now cut them out again and hopefully loose weight again and lower my blood sugar again.
