Type 2 I have had diabetes for more than 25 years, always high. Now it drops way low, why?

I have had type 2 diabetes for more than 25 years - always high. Now, for the last few months it drops down low at times - even as low as 44. Don't understand this?

44 mg/dL?? You'd better go see your doctor. Or maybe there's something wrong with your blood glucose meter.
