I need friends! Raw / Vegan - ish !

Hi, Nike69 :)

I am on a so called vegan diet.

I do not belong to any Gabriel Cousens type of religious organizations.

My diet is a simple choice for health reasons and does not have any connections with vegan beliefs, although I have respect for them.

You give me the impression your looking to find new members for something different, rather than friends.

Roy.

No!!!!! I want to talk to people who are like me. I have been on a mainly Raw vegan / vegetarian diet since mid Jan and its working. But its stressful sometimes and hard BUT raw food seems to be doing me the world of good. I mention Dr C because that's where I got the idea from!!!

Hi, Nike69

Sorry, I was a little harsh.

I am on a vegan, including no sugar nor oils diet which over the last 8 months has been working for me.
I am going for a 3 monthly test tomorrow which should reveal some interesting results, fingers crossed.
I am now used to this diet and get spoiled with some great meals from my family.
I am not on medication.

This forum is great and I hope you make many new friends.

Roy. :)

Hooraaaaaaaaay, that's the kind of friend I meant! I was diagnosed in October with a 127. I gave up all coke and in fact All drinks other than green teas and water and the occasional very diluted no sugar squash. Sadly, my next test was 125 WHAT a disappointment. So that's when I found Dr C's film. I found it inspirational and started to change mid January. I am also not taking any medication (much to my nurses disgust) as I have always healed myself. I am pleased to say my mainly raw, no carbs (only some beans or lentils), very little dairy (a tiny bit of grated cheddar), no meat (experimented and not sure its helpful), NO FRUIT (boo hoo)diet appears to be working. I have my blood test next month. HOPE you smash it today, if you do maybe you can try some raw vegan chocolate. Its very very good. I do eat a lot of fish.
