thanks again for your responses. sorry for not answering clearly. reading them ive realised i really dont know anything about my condition and how to manage it. its been managed by my carers for a long time because i was diagnosed at 5 (am 17 now) so i dont know what a practise manager is (havent heard of it) or a DSN. i understand you are saying to get help from the gps and nurses but if im finding it hard to live whats the point? theres no point wasting their time if im going to kill myself anyway. ive always thought this idk if its a guily complex or something from my carers but i always feel like im wasting peoples time by talking about this stuff (i feel like im wasting urs right now, thank you for helping me.) saying that i have an appointment on thursday so i will try and talk about this then. im going to tell them i feel really unprepared to be fully independant on diabetes and i dont know anything. ill update what their response is from there. Geoff - they prescribed me the same amount 800 after a really traumatic blood test. they didnt give me enough for a full term (?) and said they would prescribe me more. they havent and said they couldnt without another blood test (which from last experience im less than willing) sorry for not being more clear, thanks again everyone for your time
