Not being able to eat as many chocolate digestives as I used to.
The first night after my first insulin injection (9th October) I slept through the night without getting up to go to the loo. Things were good until the weekend before last when my thirst came back and I felt like I wanted to wee every 5 minutes. After 2 to 3 days it just went away again. I checked my ketones (0.1) and my BG which was below 8 for most of the time.

Has anyone else experienced the return of pre-diagnosis symptoms?

Spicy food and caffeine can irritate the bladder as can alcohol, or it might just be that you had a bladder infection that cleared on its own.

I have suffered from an over-active bladder before so stopped drinking caffeinated drinks which helped immensely, if the problem returns and persists and there's no medical reason for it then you should try reducing the above in your diet.

I'm with @noblehead on this one, I think you had an infection that cleared on it's own.
Don't ignore it next time

Ok thanks for the advive @noblehead , @Dibbles1. Been to the docs for something else so mentioned it and took a sample in today. Will see if anything comes back but I don't drink much alcohol really and only 2 to 3 cups of coffee or tea in a day.
