Hi everyone
I think I have actually successfully given up smoking. Okay so I've only done 12 days but this is a MAHOOSIVE achievement for me. I have promised myself that I'm going to be fab n 40, so I gave up the day before my 39th birthday. I think I've actually cracked it!!! If I can do it believe me anyone can. I've attempted through the doctors 4 times since diagnosis in November and by using patches and willpower I,m getting there.
GO ME

That's great ! The first couple of weeks are always the hardest. The nicotine is completely out of your system now. Don't be fooled though, the habit takes longer to break so don't let your guard down. I quit nearly 5 years ago now and feel so much better. Keep up the great work

Thank you x
It's the hardest thing I've ever done.
My dad has been really poorly and has been told if he doesn't quit he will die so I am trying my hardest to support him and he has given up also we are supporting each other all the way.

Well done to both you and your dad! I gave up in October and I feel so good about it now. 12 days is a huge achievement so you absolutely should feel proud
