iBG Star Data Synchronisation

My iBG Star meter died, and has been replace by Sanofi. Is it fair to assume that when I start using the new meter and it syncs with my iPhone that it will add to the data already there? For obvious reasons, I don't want to lose the data I have already accumulated.


I guess I could check by downloading the App to my iPad and try it there before my iPhone, but someone will probably know.

I've not had to do this but I can't imagine it would wipe the data.

Best to back the phone up before attaching the new device (just to be safe)

Just for completeness:

I have started using my replacement meter and, as hoped, when synchronising with the App, it just adds the new data.
