Ibuprofen Recommendations ...

The sugar could be in the coating of the tablets . You could try an ibuprofen gel !

My Diabetes is type 2 - well controlled. I have a very inflamed tendon in my arm.

It seems most ibuprofen have sugar in the mix! :O

Will the amounts be small enough for me to not worry about?

Can anyone recommend a brand of ibuprofen that I can take to ease my inflamed tendon pain?

Thanks in advance.

Where does sugar appear in the list of ingredients?

Personally, I'd crack on with the pain relief. Miss not going to be for long, but if you leave the tendon inflamed for longer, you may find it becomes more chronic. I hate taking any tablets, but sometimes it's expedient.

I made that mistake giving my t1 son ibuprofen for a headache a few months ago. He went from 6 to 16! I never even considered that it had sugar in it. I spoke to the chemist and he said the only thing available sugar free was infants ibuprofen liquid. He's a 6'1" strapping 16 year old.

I asked my consultant after seeing they said not suitable for T1s on the packaging and she said I was fine to take them
