ive had a bad evening spider in my slipper, dog and two cats having nervous breakdowns due to fire work ect and my sweet tooth is back with avengance im following the low carb diet and i really really want an ice cream dare i risk it :D

Ice cream isn't actually that bad, the fat content slows down the sugar. I eat ice cream all the time. I take insulin though, but I don't have to take more to eat ice cream. I go for Ben and Jerrys because some flavours are only 20g carbs per 100g, which isn't that bad. :)

Poor you, but if you see a spider on an evening it means good luck is just around the corner, at least thats what the Swedes believe
I have never had a sweet tooth, but I know plenty of people who have, best thing is to be prepared, bake a cake/muffins or make your own sugarfree chocolates/truffles/ice cream and freeze, next time you have a craving for sweet things you can indulge and still keep good bg levels.
Or if you dont want to do that, I think there are some mini ice lollies in supermarkets at less than 10carbs per lolly, but dont take my word for it, I dont normally look in that section of the shop.

Hope you furry friends and you have recovered from your nervous breakdowns, must have been a bit like Scooby Doo at your house
