As I wake quite early I've noticed the mornings aren't so sunny anymore, jumping out of bed to start the day isn't quite so attractive. The clocks will change again but... the evenings will continue drawing in.
How do you wile away the dark evenings bringing the lighter nights back round more quickly?

PS Keep it clean and tidy please!!

I geek it up :D

I play WoW, and 40K. I know, i need to get a life lol.

I also knit. At the moment i'm making myself a new bag to keep my stuff in, i.e insulin, testing meter etc. I can never find one the right size, so i'm making one.
It's black and green, with diamonds knitted in. It's the hardest thing i've tried, but it's going well so far.
Walking the dog, as always. That takes up at least an hour of my day.
She's a Malamute, and they have absolutely no attention span, and are highly intelligent.
It's such a wonderful combo :S Great dogs, if you know what you're doing with them.

since getting diabetes i had a good look at my life.i realised my life revolved around bringing my kids around to their matches and mainly watching tv.i realised that i had no friends either.so i decided to get involved in the community.i set up a neighbourhood watch and residents association.i know that might sound a bit geeky but i now have gained a lot of new friends . we are having a big party sunday week to help everyone get to know each other.our estate is a little over a year old.as a result of this i got elected vice chairman of our community council,we organise anything that happens in our village.our next big project is building a community centre.then if i didnt have enough to do i decided to set up a youth club.this is starting up at the end of september.i have gone from one extreme to the other but i am really loving it.i have more friends now than i ever had before and i feel a lot better about myself as well.thanks for reading

I get out to a dark site with my telescopes, the heavens are a wonderful sight, especially when seen through a 10" reflector :)

How wonderful. It is my long term goal to live somewhere with no streetlights and "real" dark, so that I can actually see all the stars in the night sky. I was on Iona only 2 weeks ago and that was wonderful - apart from all the rain and clouds hiding the sky.

Can't we be contrary creatures, I love where I live but sometimes I look out of my windows on a dark winter's night and wish I could see just one light, one sign of habitation :? Most of the time I'm just glad I don't have neighbours to worry about :)
