ignorance of medical profession. or just stupidity ?

Hello all my name is Hugh I was first diagnosed with diabetes 2 days after a operation I had to replace my hip 6 years ago wen I was 39 from the off they got it wrong first I was proscribed lottie & a tablet called amaral. & wen I told my doctor & diabetic nurse that wen I eat Verizon 4 breakfast my thers would rocket up to between 26-38 & they said there was nothing to worry about. & told me to increase my lottie 2 units lucky for me I decided to seek a second opinion in another town just outside belfast & in the space of 2 hours they put me on the right medication & what shocked the most was when they told me if id not come to them I would have been dead within a month. When I first got diabetes I was just 7 & half stone IM now 11/9 & iv never been 12 stone my doctor tells me as far as the diabetes go,s IM great and I put that down to what ever the "experts"got tell me to do I do the opposite I eat what I when I want iv no special diet so you tell me who,s right & who,s wrong ?
