After my hysterectomy I was given some sound, sensible advice by my GP. I was instructed to set daily targets and once I had done them to give myself a pat on the back and feel satisfied at my achievement. It worked, I started with simple things and over a period of several weeks built it up. There was plenty of rest with the daily targets too.
I am very relieved to have a diagnosis at last. I have had migraine attacks since I was 16 and as I am now 50 and lots of bits, it's been a long haul. Now that I know what's causing it I can move on. I still have a few days of taking it easy - I don't do taking it easy ! - and can understand how frustrating it can be, when you can't do things.
