I was wondering if someone could give me advice....I am currently Poorly with a tummy bug but my sugar levels are fine (7mmol) but ketones have been between 0.7 and 1. I am on a pump but I’m worried about taking too much insulin my sugars go too low, but also don’t want to leave it in case they increase. Any advice please? Thank you!

Usually, when we are poorly, our BG goes up rather than down and many of us find we need to increase our basal.
Of course, that's a "usually" and a "many" but it not always and it's not everyone.
The only way to know for yourself is to test test test and adjust your basal accordingly.
Do NOT remove your pump. Even if you are not eating, you will still need your basal.

Drink plenty of water! As well as taking insulin, it's important to stay hydrated to help deal with ketones. Continue testing ketones and blood sugars. It may be hard to distinguish between illness and symptoms of DKA, but watch out for the following: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, fruity smelling breath, rapid breathing. If in doubt, err on the side of caution and get to hospital.

Don't turn off your pump, this could accelerate DKA. For hypo treatments, could you have some water with sugar in it? Or juice? I find it easier to drink hypo treatments than eat them in general, I'm guessing this would be particularly true when you are ill. Good luck, get well soon
