- Dunno. Strange question.
I'm back, folks. It was a very busy six months or so moving countries, but now I'm running a staff weight loss challenge, and I'm determined to kick T2D again. Who's having good results and how is it going? What's your strategy been?
I'm cutting calories, trying to be as paleo as I can, but I do not want to live strictly like that, and so...I'm exercising, using Weight Watchers and Lean Cuisine frozen meals when I'm too tired to cook or just want to ensure I'm adhering to low-cal, doing Nutribullet green smoothies with green tea and very little but spinach/mint leaves/frozen straweberries, lemon, a slice of apple, and flaxseed or almonds and when I need more than that...almond milk. I allow for Lindt's dark choco once in a while. NOT daily.
I'm working on stress and sleep and have been reading the latest dialogues about whether Taylor's program is a true reversal or just remission or not (I want hope - so I'm hoping for reversal!). I'm 5 years diabetic right now, and my last tests were normal, but one day my blood sugar was measured at 13!!! Argh. I haven't bought a tester, but maybe should.
One step into it again, and again. Educating myself. Glad to be back in the community.
Cheers,
Moi.
