- When people who know nothing about the LCHF diet tell me I'm killing myself being on it. I was killing myself not being on it!
After a few months of injury, puppies and then more injury I'm back in the land of testing and diet! As you mya remember, way back in late June I tripped over a low wall and badly hurt myself, so my long walks and zumba were off the menu. Then whilst I was signed off work our lab had pups. So I was on my knees changing the paper in the puppy pen a few times every day for weeks and that eventually led to fluid on the knee, which led to me not being able to kneel (obviously!) and had to stop exercising again. So it has been a long slog to get back to exercising, I'm now walking and cycling to work. I've been using my bus pass (I love my bus pass) and have been taking the bus to interesting parts of the island, then going for walks until the next bus back. My weight and sugar levels had gone up, 52 to 54 if I remember right. But now I'm fully back onto the LCHF diet and enjoying my meals again. My sugar level at teatime was 6.2 but I'd no exercise today. It's good to be in charge again
