I used to use this forum a lot but stopped - can't remember why.

So I think I must have gubbed the email account I used to set up my original account - it was gefmayhem.

I'm Scottish, 54, been type 2 for about 24 years.
Currently taking Metformin, glipizide, simvistatin, ramipril, doxazosin, insulin at night and have just started on sertraline.
I'm married with 2 grown up kids and about to become a grandfather.

Hi Mayhem and welcome home, having a few grandchildren of my own, as some will tell you a bit of an understatement, I am so jealous, the more the merrier I say
 
Yep thats me.
When I tried to recover the password I think the email address I was using has now been deleted - possibly just forgotten :confused:

We're looking forward to the first grandchild, but I think my son is in shock - this is a bit of an accident!
So we dealt with it the way all responsible parents should.
I called him a f***wit, slapped him over the head and we opened some fizz!

Time to start buying some Duplo

Unless you are seriously trying for a baby and even then according to the latest statistics forget where, most pregnancy's are accidents and lucky to complete as the body can for all sorts of reasons reject the babe, welcome to the grand parents club, odd I remember saying this to my son about this time last year Lilly being nearly 1 yr old
