I'm new.......

Hi,
I just discovered this site today and would really, really, REALLY, like to get involved in taling with other T1 diabetics??
I'm 22, was diagnosed 17 years ago and have always struggled a lot with control, very bad fits etc. I'm now on an insulin pump as this was suggesteed by my team to see if it helped with the fits at night. It did at first but they seem to be cropping up again. :? Anyway, I think it would be great, certainly for myself, to join you all and share experiences etc and even just talk about life as a T1 as it's certainly not easy and I don't know about anyone else, but I struggle with it often and it has affected my own mental health in the past.

Anyway, I'd love to get chatting to someone?

Hi and welcome to the forum

Can't help you myself as I'm a T2 but diabetics are like buses there will be a T1 along any minute ( probably several )

Thanks to you both for replying! I've been having a nosey around the verious threads on this forum and it's great. It's always so encouraging to see things from people going through the same thing.....
