Diane Cress has a theory that the liver dumps glucose into the blood every 5 hours, unless we eat.
I've not noticed it myself, and I have no idea what she bases that on.
Try testing your BG every hour, and see when your BG starts to rise...
Bacon and eggs, mushrooms....for breakfast is low carb and higher protein....cook in butter or coconut oil to add fat...and cut out cereals and the biscuits....you can snack on better things...a few nuts, cheese, boiled eggs...peanut butter. Start reading labels and checking carb content...cutting carbs is the best way to lower your BG levels
I really appreciate your advice- my worry though and it may seem stupid- i have high chloresteral and advised to lower fat ......... Would eating high fat diet give more risk ??

I also have high colesterol and have just had my statins increased after years on them , I had the same worry but I decided to give it a try . In some cases it will lower colesterol!!

I'm still quite new, but like you have been put on orlistat and last visit to the nurse was casually told I have high cholesterol. Seems there are different types of cholesterol so I need to get a breakdown when I go back but I was told animal fats are not good which was ironic as I've been a veggie for years. Do eat dairy products though.
Usually have a couple of crispbreads and cream cheese for breakfast on weekdays and a a cooked breakfast at the weekend when I have more time. I'm calorie counting which seems to be working but trying to get my carbs down too.
Will see how my cholesterol looks soon as due my first 3 month check soon but figured blood sugar and weight were my first priority. Hope you find what's right for you
I spoke with my GP today who is going to reasses my diabetes and BG levels ......... Orlistat ........ NO Fat or you have accidents which is really hard when to get BG down, fat issgood !!!
