Over the last few months I have increased my protein intake from ca 80 grams protein /day to ca 170 grams/day. For years now I have had very dry and cracked thickened skin on the outside of my elbow joints. Today I noticed that they were now no longer as before, but soft,flexible and as smooth as a babies bottom. I sure aint no baby @ 77 years old. Maybe this is usless trivia but posted as it may be of help to somebody with skin problems My macros are now around 53% fat, 40% protein and 7% carbohydrates ie counted as total carbs ie including fiber.
